Sr QA Specialist

Summary

Join Blue Acorn iCi, an Infosys company, as a Senior QA Specialist with experience in Adobe Commerce. The role involves designing and supporting quality assurance and testing plans for project teams, understanding web technologies, and contributing to quality inspections of requirements, designs, data, and technical specifications. Frequent travel during project planning phases is required, and fluency in both Spanish and English is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Frequent travel is required during the planning phases of projects to meet with clients/stakeholders (this will taper down once a project begins)
• Fluency in both Spanish and English is highly preferred
• Working experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento 2)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 2+ years of work experience guiding development teams through execution of quality assurance and testing activities for websites

Responsibilities

• Design and support the implementation of verification and validation processes
• Possess a detailed understanding of how, when, and why to perform quality assurance and testing activities across the software development lifecycle
• Guide teams through risk management activities and promote understanding of positive and negative risk responses
• Guide teams through root cause analysis, surfacing opportunities to address quality issues as close as possible to their source and support teams in continuous improvement
• Contribute to quality inspections of requirements, designs, data, and technical specifications
• Proactively demonstrate abilities to identify relevant resources related to work, acquire competence in new subject areas quickly, and engage in knowledge sharing

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep experience in web application testing, including highly-trafficked public-facing sites with fully responsive user interfaces
• Experience in the execution of quality assurance and testing within Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Complementary skills to support software development and consulting teams
