Summary

The job is for a senior engineer in the Market Expansion team at Recharge, a leading subscription platform for innovative ecommerce brands. The role involves delivering custom integrations and new features for Recharge’s largest merchants, collaborating with product and solutions engineering teams, and working on complex problems using Python, Fastapi, Flask, Vue.js, React, GCP, SaaS, MySQL/NoSQL, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, SignalFx, Sentry.

Requirements

• Strong experience in building complex systems, both in zero-to-one contexts and incremental changes to existing systems
• Knowledge and experience with Python
• Communication skills across multiple mediums, including in-person, video, chat, and written documentation

Responsibilities

• Ship features that are of utmost importance to Recharge’s success
• Work collaboratively with fellow engineers and product counterparts to pragmatically develop products
• Review Python code, pair with others to design solutions, mentor more junior engineers, and be part of on-call rotations as needed to support our products

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building configurable workflow engines
• Experience in e-commerce
