Sr. Site Reliability Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Landbot, a No-Code Chatbot Builder operating in 40+ countries. This remote position requires candidates between UTC-1 to UTC +2. The role involves developing core infrastructure, designing and building for the cloud, managing databases, troubleshooting issues, and more. The hiring process includes CV screening, phone screen with HR & Hiring Manager, technical take-home challenge, team presentation of challenge results, and CEO interview.

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in a similar position or as a full-time freelancer
• Good working knowledge of Kubernetes and the entire container ecosystem
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure). Preferable experience in Google Cloud Platform
• Good skill in shell scripting. Programming in Python or Go is a plus
• Experience with infrastructure as a code tool, preferably Terraform
• Knowledge of Helm
• Experience with Observability. , knowledge of OpenTelemetry is a plus
• Knowledge of GitOps
• Experience in server configuration, Linux, databases management. , networking configuration, and distributed systems
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to design and optimize cloud-based architectures for performance, scalability, availability, and cost-efficiency, with a strong focus on maintainability
• Ability to drive decision-making and solution approaches through written formats, as well as document processes for a broad audience to reduce knowledge silos. Experience with RFC. (Request for Comments) and ADR. (Architectural Decision Record) formats is a plus
• Strong organizational skills to handle incidents efficiently and document analysis or postmortems. with the team
• Ability to work effectively in paired/mob programming. and asynchronous. work environments
• Proactive nature and autonomous
• Great problem-solving abilities
• You are fluent in English
• Eligibility to work in Spain or Freelance

Responsibilities

• Develop Landbot's core infrastructure by implementing the DevOps culture
• Design and build for the cloud
• Help to maintain current systems and improve scalability and reliability
• Manage the different databases
• Build tools to manage our growing stack
• Good knowledge of server configuration, operating systems, load balancing, and redundant cluster solutions
• Troubleshoot, understand and automate away common issues
