Sr. Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Software Engineer who will support the development of applications for a financial regulator remotely. The role involves working with Angular and React, API integrations, and Java 17. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 8+ years of Full-Stack development experience are required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree. in computer science. , Information Systems, or related discipline
• 8+ years. of Full-Stack development experience within Angular(11 and above). and React
• Strong competency Java 17 and further. (the latest features) including writing testable code using Unit Tests, Integration tests
• Previous experience in implementing solutions using Javascript, Typescript
• Hands on working knowledge with AWS including ECS/EC2, Security groups, IAM roles, etc

Responsibilities

• Participate in and lead design reviews and solutioning using latest technology
• Write high quality code that meets latest standards
• Lead other team members in peer review of code and identify re-usable frameworks
• Design, develop, and implement web-based Java applications to support business requirements
• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
• Leverage industry Java best practices to design, test, implement and support a multi-tier origination Java solution
• Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
