Sr. Software Engineer II (Web Engineer) in Worldwide

Summary

The job description is for a Web Engineer position within the Web Engineering team at Life360. The engineer will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end ecommerce solution, developing React UI components, creating custom integrations using AWS CDK, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and document new features. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or industry experience, 5+ years of experience with React, NextJS, and AWS, and strong web testing skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with Typescript, Cypress, Netlify, BigCommerce, Contentful, Jasper, Cloudflare Edge Workers, and Agile Development methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar quantitative field or the equivalent industry experience
• 5+ years of experience with React, NextJS and AWS (SQS, Lambdas, S3, CloudWatch)
• Strong web testing skills, including Jest, browser testing

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end ecommerce solution
• Develop React UI components for our Next.js ecommerce storefront
• Create and maintain custom integrations between vendor services

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Agile Development and Scrum methodologies
