Summary

Join Encora as a Mid SRE Azure, AWS and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and continuously improve software development practices. This remote position is based in Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica, or Bolivia. The role requires a strong SRE mindset to maintain 24/7 application uptime with built-in redundancy. You will build CI/CD pipelines and create monitoring notifications for critical applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications
• Professional/ Advanced English skills
• 4+ years of experience in Software development of complex applications
• Experience with Cloud and SaaS Development: Azure and/or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud
• Network (VPC. Subnet, TGW, Peering)
• Compute (EC2, workspace)
• IAM
• Security (Policies, Roles etc.)
• Linux administrator
• DevOps Knowledge
• Terraform
• Ansible
• EKS
• Helm
• Release Management
• Git
• Artifactory
• CI/CD Pipelines
• Identity
• SAML/OpenID Connect
• Active Directory
• Terraform and ansible scripting
• Telemetry tools like new relics, splint, or dynatrace

Responsibilities

• SRE mindset to keep the application running 24x7 with build in redundancy
