Requirements

  • Proficiency in Platform, Cloud, Terraform, and Helm
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant hands-on experience in cloud computing environments
  • Proven software engineering skills; significant experience in Python scripting and leveraging large-scale cloud infrastructure as the primary application platform
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) proficiency; experience in building declarative infrastructure using modern IaC techniques
  • Successfully led software, data center, and/or on-premises infrastructure engineering teams in adopting cloud, hybrid, and on-premises cloud-native architectures
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, JSON, and Python
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or comparable industry experience
  • Active Security+ certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment
  • Active Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Mentor junior developers and engineers
  • Provision, manage, and secure cloud infrastructure with expertise through infrastructure as code implementations at an Individual Contributor Level
  • Interact with various stakeholders internal and external to the organization
  • Design, implement, and manage modern cloud-native infrastructure and applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with AWS GovCloud or AWS networking to ensure secure and compliant cloud operations
  • Proficiency in HashiCorp Vault for secrets management and an understanding of immutable infrastructure concepts to enhance system security and reliability
  • Experience with GitLab, including its CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with the CI/CD system landscape to streamline development workflows and automate deployments
