Requirements

  • 8+ years of Cloud Engineering experience (DevOps/SRE) designing production systems in public cloud environments (AWS [preferred], GCP, or Azure)
  • Excellent Incident Management skills to navigate and lead incidents adeptly to ensure platform uptime
  • Strong experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Go, and TypeScript
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand container orchestration platforms to support customer platform in Kubernetes (EKS), ECS and Lambda
  • Design and build CI/CD pipelines with a promotion based model (GitHub Actions)
  • Leverage experience with infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as CDK, Terraform, and Pulumi to manage infrastructure with CI/CD
  • Architect and design with teams across the org to build robust and scalable API solutions in AWS that meet both current and future needs
  • Own the architecture and development of system components to improve monitoring, alerting and stability with compliance and security in mind (Datadog and Pagerduty)
  • Utilize expert knowledge of WAF and Zero-Trust solutions including AWS WAF and Cloudflare to keep our products safe and secure
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain robust security measures, including vulnerability assessments and risk management
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior DevOps team members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing
  • Leverage performance and load test tooling to identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize backend services for efficiency and speed
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response to ensure 24/7 system availability

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or related certifications
  • Experience managing Web3/Crypto infrastructure
  • Previous experience in a startup environment
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design
