Requirements
- 6-8 years of full-stack data practitioner experience with at least 4 years in a data engineering or architecture role
- Proven track record designing and optimizing production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines that drive business value
- Deep expertise with cloud data platforms, including Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks
- Strong experience developing, scaling, and administering enterprise dbt implementations
- Advanced Python and SQL proficiency
- Experience operationalizing ML/AI models using Snowpark, AWS Glue, or Databricks MLOps frameworks in production environments
- End-to-end ownership of data analytics projects from requirements gathering through architecture, design, and deployment
- Demonstrated ability to architect data systems that enhance data quality, governance, and stakeholder trust
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions that translate complex data into actionable business insights
- Architect and drive the development of robust, scalable, and production-grade data platforms and pipelines using modern data technologies, including Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and Hightouch
- Lead the technical direction for data architecture, modeling, transformation, and the operationalization of ML/AI models (MLOps/AIOps) to achieve measurable business outcomes
- Champion data integrity and governance by building and deploying data quality frameworks, establishing best practices, and remediating anomalies to foster stakeholder trust
- Drive the evaluation and implementation of cutting-edge data technologies, including Iceberg, Kafka-based streaming platforms, and unified semantic layers to accelerate business insights
- Spearhead data and tool migration initiatives, ensuring seamless transitions and system reliability
- Establish and enforce standards for data documentation, rigorous testing protocols, and collaborative peer review processes
- Mentor and guide other engineers on data engineering best practices and emerging technologies
