Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ Years of experience working in Data Engineering tech stack (Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Python, SQL, Gitlab, AWS, Airflow, DBT, and others)
- 6+ Years of experience working in Database platforms and cloud database platforms (i.e., Snowflake, Redshift, or GCP)
- 5+ Years of experience working with Python and/or another data-centric language
- 3+ Years of experience working in Technical Leadership
- Thorough knowledge of data modeling, database design, data architecture principles, and data operations
- Willing to work at EST
- Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons
Responsibilities
- Lead and own the technical direction for your teamβs work, setting the strategic vision for our data infrastructure and ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Define the product and platform direction, influencing decisions that impact the broader organization
- Navigate ambiguous and complex technical challenges independently, requiring minimal external assistance
- Focus on high-priority projects that drive significant value for our users and stakeholders
- Collaborate and share within your team, helping them achieve their objectives and elevate their technical skills
- Advocate for and drive technical changes and best practices within the team, raising the engineering bar and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Act as a cultural carrier for the engineering team, promoting a high standard of excellence and a commitment to better engineering practices
- Ensure that the projects you work on have a clear end-user impact and are aligned with strategic goals and be accountable for delivering meaningful outcomes
