Summary

Requirements
- Masterβs or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
- 6+ years of experience in data science with a focus on applying statistical modeling and machine learning to real-world business problems
- Expertise in time series analysis and forecasting models (e.g., ARIMA, Prophet, LSTM), as well as optimization techniques (e.g., linear programming, mixed-integer programming, constraint optimization) to solve complex business problems
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages, with fluency in statistical and machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Experience working with large datasets and leveraging cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) or distributed computing frameworks for data processing
- Proven ability to apply complex statistical, machine learning, and data visualization techniques to drive measurable business outcomes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical models and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement modeling solutions
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy sophisticated statistical and machine learning models, with a strong focus on forecasting and optimization to solve complex business problems
- Develop and apply advanced time series forecasting models to predict future trends and business outcomes, guiding strategic decision-making and resource allocation
- Create and implement forecasting and optimization models to support critical business functions, helping the company operate more efficiently and effectively
- Use large, complex datasets to perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), identify key trends, and extract actionable insights that directly influence business and product decisions
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define business problems, design and implement modeling solutions that deliver measurable impact
- Conduct robust A/B testing, model validation, and evaluation to assess model performance and ensure that solutions meet business objectives
- Continuously improve model performance by experimenting with new techniques, tuning model parameters, and iterating on solutions to enhance accuracy and effectiveness
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning, statistics, and optimization techniques, and apply these innovations to improve model effectiveness
- Communicate complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders, creating clear visualizations and reports that convey insights in a digestible and impactful way
