You will play a key role in optimizing and troubleshooting live Reinforcement Learning and Causal ML models, improving OfferFit's algorithms, and creating diagnostic tests. Requirements
- 5+ years in industry Data Science and Machine Learning with an emphasis on deployed prediction applications in the consumer space (churn, fraud, etc.)
- Think deeply about the data in your ML problem and rigorously analyze the impact of your interventions
- Systematically and efficiently determine the root causes of poor performance and deduce model issues under tight time lines and high client expectations
- Write clean, well documented code; you care about good design
- Regularly explore and learn new technologies and methods
- Proactively identify opportunities and risks, work around obstacles, and always seek creative ways to improve processes and outcomes
- Structure a plan, align stakeholders, and see it through to execution
- Express yourself clearly and persuasively, both in writing and verbally
- Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal
Responsibilities
- Take a leading role in the optimization and troubleshooting of live Reinforcement Learning and Causal ML models driving OfferFit's marketing campaign use cases
- Analyze and improve OfferFit's Reinforcement Learning and Causal ML algorithms in collaboration with the Applied ML engineering team that develops our ML pipeline
- Create new custom diagnostic tests and analyses to support OfferFit's Reinforcement Learning and Causal ML algorithms
Preferred Qualifications
Up to 10-15% travel for company-wide quarterly gatherings, team offsite workshops, customer meetings, and industry-related events
