Summary

The job is for a Marketing Data Scientist at Cash App, where the employee will derive insights from unique datasets to improve marketing efforts and customer experience. The role requires 10+ years of experience in relevant roles, advanced proficiency with SQL, data visualization tools, scripting languages, Causal Inference techniques, and cohort and funnel analyses.

Requirements

• A degree in statistics, data science, or similar STEM field with 10+ years of experience in a relevant role
• Advanced proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, etc)
• Experience with scripting and data analysis programming languages, such as Python or R
• Worked extensively with Causal Inference techniques and off platform data

Responsibilities

• Build models to optimize marketing efforts
• Design and analyze A/B experiments
• Analyze large datasets using SQL and scripting languages
• Partner directly with the Cash App Marketing org to influence their roadmap
