Staff Engineer, PHP-DRUPAL

Summary

Join our Digital Product Engineering company as a Drupal developer and contribute to building exciting products and services. You will leverage your expertise in PHP 8.X, Drupal 9/10, and React to develop and maintain Drupal modules, themes, and sites. Your responsibilities include building sites using various Drupal modules, configuring contributed modules, implementing hooks, and working with REST APIs and databases. You will also lead projects, communicate with clients, and provide support to development teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to develop creative solutions. Experience with reactive front-end frameworks and responsive CSS frameworks is a plus.

Requirements

• Have experience in PHP 8.X and Drupal 9/10
• Experience in developing Drupal modules, Drupal Theming, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS
• OOPS Fundamentals
• Experience in REST API, PHP Unit, MySQL, Composer
• Able to understand the requirements and design when explained
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and effective solutions

Responsibilities

• Building sites using Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, and Panels, Paragraphs, Path auto etc
• Experience with configuration and modification of contributed modules, implementation of standard hooks, VIEWS, Blocks, etc
• Able to lead a project with a team and handle all functional and technical communications with customer
• Provide expertise in the development of standards, performance considerations, design patterns and practices
• Should be able to provide support to dev teams in terms of guidance and POCs
• Should be able to do development/code fix for any complex or critical issue

Preferred Qualifications

• Good to have experience in working with Drupal languages/translations using Country path module
• Good to have experience in Acquia Site Studio/Site Factory/Content Hub
• Experience working with reactive front-end framework like React and responsive CSS frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap)
