Staff Engineer, ERP Oracle Functional

You will leverage your 7+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion modules (GL, AP, AR, Taxes, CM, FA, Allocations, Expenses/iExpenses) to design and implement solutions for clients. Your strong technical skills in configurations, customizations, and development, along with your understanding of business processes, will be crucial. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical designs, identifying optimal solutions, and ensuring adherence to best practices. Requirements

• Experience 7+ years
• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion financial modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payables (AP), Receivables (AR), Fusion Taxes, Cash Management (CM), Fixed Assets (FA), Allocations, and Fusion Expenses/iExpenses
• Hands-on experience with at least one end-to-end Oracle implementation project
• Strong technical skills in Oracle Fusion configurations, customizations, and development, with a techno-functional understanding of Oracle finance modules
• Familiarity with business processes and implementing technical solutions based on provided designs and requirements
• Experience in supporting day-to-day operations and incident resolution for Oracle Fusion
• Familiarity with FRIS report development and maintenance
• Good communication skills, especially in providing updates and technical explanations to stakeholders
• Ability to resolve problems in a timely and effective manner, involving project managers and executive management as appropriate
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure that your ideas, strategies, and successes resonate within the team and with clients
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Understanding the clients business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them in to technical design which elegantly meets the requirements
• Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers
• Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the clients requirements
• Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
• Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed
• Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
• Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects
• Resolving issues that are raised during code/review, through exhaustive systematic analysis of the root cause, and being able to justify the decision taken
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements
