Requirements

  • Have 7+ years of experience
  • Be proficient in Playwright with JavaScript
  • Have strong experience with Selenium for test automation
  • Have a solid understanding of SQL and experience writing and executing queries
  • Have 4 to 10 years of overall experience in test automation
  • Have experience with designing and implementing test frameworks
  • Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Have experience with version control systems like Git
  • Have familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes
  • Have a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Understand the project’s functional and non-functional requirements. Review requirements and work very closely with the team to provide inputs for requirement improvements, where possible
  • Identify the scope of testing and availability of test data and environment
  • Provide test estimates and feedback to the QA Lead and Project Manager for project scheduling purposes
  • Create, update and maintain comprehensive manual test scenarios and test cases for functional and non-functional requirements
  • Organize test case walkthroughs and ensure test cases/scripts reviewed and approved by relevant stakeholders
  • Design and develop a framework for test automation following the project's design and coding guidelines
  • Create, update and maintain comprehensive scripts for test automation for functional and non-functional requirements
  • Execute test cases and prepare test logs
  • Log defects and track them proactively and follow them through to closure via bug tracking tools
  • Troubleshoot issues reported by the client, provide prompt and accurate responses to queries and concerns
  • Aid in the release and deployment activities by verifying the build and release kit
