Summary
Join Qonto as a Strategic Workforce Apprentice to optimize resource allocation and capacity planning. You will ensure the right resources meet KPIs, working with cross-functional teams. Working closely with the Workforce Manager, you will directly impact Qonto's operational efficiency and financial performance through data-driven workforce planning and analysis. This role offers hands-on experience with real-world data analysis and resource planning, developing tools impacting business decisions, and growing technical and business skills within a supportive learning environment. The position involves working at the intersection of Operations, Finance, and Engineering teams, gaining exposure to a fast-growing fintech company. The successful candidate will receive guidance and mentorship from an experienced manager.
Requirements
- Technical Skills: You have proficiency in Excel (especially forecasting and basic financial modeling) and either SQL knowledge or a strong willingness to learn it quickly
- Analytical Mindset: You can identify patterns in data, determine root causes, and translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations
- Financial Understanding: You have basic conceptual finance knowledge (cost-to-serve, unit economics, economies of scale) and can apply it to workforce planning
- Communication: You possess great communication skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and explain complex concepts simply
- Adaptability: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can continue performing despite frequent changes and ambiguity
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize the capacity planning and forecasting for our internal and external teams
- Be the referent for budget within the team, measuring deviations and looking for efficiencies
- Analyze processes, transforming qualitative and quantitative analysis into insights on how to increase productivity/efficiency and to remove blocking points
- Ensure we have the right tools to measure productivity, and sometimes develop simple tools yourself (could be a simple spreadsheet or some SQL-based dashboard)
- Develop and put into practice action plans when an SLA/target is not being reached
