Requirements

  • You have previous experience in an staff-level Program Management role that's required you to work across multiple businesses and business units
  • 8+ years of experience working directly with software engineering teams
  • You have worked with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • You are comfortable in a highly technical environment and can understand the nuances of technical decisions
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and high stakes environment
  • Experience establishing new processes that are sustainable for the team
  • You are a smart, curious, and analytical person with a bias for action

Responsibilities

  • Own, develop, and lead adoption of HEMS product development processes and guidelines for effective delivery management
  • Lead Program strategy and partner with project managers across Generac businesses to effectively deliver cross-business products & services
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, providing regular updates on program progress, risks, and opportunities
  • Facilitate decision-making and negotiations across diverse groups, including executives and technical teams
  • Work across Generac and HEMS leadership and stakeholders to establish and align on commitments to annual plans, quarterly OKRs, and portfolio management
  • Develop, communicate, and maintain program roadmaps
  • Ensure teams are held accountable to program schedule, delivery management, quality, program outcomes, and operations
  • Effectively prioritize and execute on program outcomes
  • Partner with program leadership team to manage risks, and share status updates to leadership team
