Join Bloomreach as a Staff QA Engineer and lead our QA team, mentoring junior engineers and designing robust test automation frameworks for complex software applications. You will define automation strategies, develop and maintain reusable scripts, integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines, and stay current on industry trends. This role requires extensive experience in automation testing, multiple frameworks (BDD, POM, Hybrid), and programming languages (Java, Javascript/Python). Requirements
- 12+ years of experience with a minimum 8-9 years experience in Automation
- Should have experience and strong knowledge in multiple tools and libraries used for automation like Selenium, TestNg, Rest-assured, Playwright, Postman, etc
- Strong knowledge and experience in multiple automation frameworks BDD, POM, Hybrid
- Should be capable of designing and developing new custom frameworks as per the requirements
- Experience in CI/CD using Jenkins/Gitlab pipelines
- Should be able to assist the other Automation engineers in the team, and train the juniors
- Should have excellent programming skills using Java & Javascript/Python
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of comprehensive test automation frameworks for various applications
- Independently define test automation strategy and select appropriate tools and technologies
- Develop and maintain reusable automation scripts for a wide range of functionalities
- Mentor and guide junior test engineers on automation best practices and tools
- Foster a collaborative environment and actively participate in code reviews
- Analyze test results, diagnose defects, and work with developers to resolve issues
- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and delivery
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in automation testing
- Participate in defining and implementing test automation standards for the organization
- Effectively communicate test strategy and results to stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in performance testing & code coverage tools will be an added advantage
