Summary
Join NBCUniversal as a Staff Site Reliability Engineer within Workplace Technology Engineering! You will design and operate global workplace solutions for NBCUniversal employees and partners. This role requires experience across multiple platforms and a proactive approach to learning new technologies. Responsibilities include vetting vendor solutions, designing and executing initiatives, and serving as a technology expert. You will also research and implement new technologies, provide training, and collaborate with various teams. Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ yearsโ experience in Information Technology, with 5+ years in desktop / end user systems engineering and administration, preferably in a large enterprise setting (30,000+ endpoints)
- Comfortable with IT security and compliance best practices
- Ability to build effective cross-functional relationships in support of delivering enterprise-wide solutions
- Ability to understand NBCU business processes and requirements by engaging with business partners at enterprise and division levels
- Proficient in automated workstation build methodologies, software packaging, and deployment systems
- System administration experience with Windows, Linux and macOS
- Experienced with automation and scripting languages such as Ansible, Bash, Perl, Python, and PowerShell
- Extensive familiarity with Intune, AutoPilot, SCCM, Nexthink, Active Directory, Jamf, and M365
- Experience working with AWS Workspace, VMWare Horizon Cloud, Citrix Workspace, Microsoft W365, and/or Microsoft AzureAD
- Proficient in implementing, deploying, and supporting MDM (Mobile Device Management) tools and infrastructure
- Able to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels and external vendors as necessary
- Has the interpersonal skills necessary to interact and work productively with the Operations, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Application, and Leadership teams
- Ability to execute within a fast-paced agile environment
- Able to work independently and in collaboration with others

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and IT project management
- Consulting experience; recognized as a thought leader within previous roles
- Working knowledge of standard web technologies (REST api, php, node.js, ruby, python, perl, etc.) and the desire to explore new technologies
- AWS & Azure certifications
- Microsoft or M365 certifications
