Staff Software Engineer

Summary

Join Addepar's Portfolio Experience team as a Senior Backend Software Engineer to maintain and evolve critical API services powering our financial data ecosystem. You will help modernize our architecture, implement scalable solutions, enhance user experiences, and establish processes for maintaining core platform functionality. This role offers significant technical leadership in transforming how global clients interact with financial data. You will contribute to a modern, service-based architecture, work in a high-performing, remote-first team, define ownership standards and processes, and collaborate with engineers and product managers. Requirements

• 8+ years building backend services in a professional environment
• Understanding of REST, service-based architecture, and distributed systems
• Experience building services with Java, Mysql, Elasticsearch, and AWS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to the best software development practices
