Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack development
  • Adept in C#/.Net, Blazor, Docker and Python
  • Strong experience with version control systems like Git within GitHub
  • Skilled in cloud platforms with a strong preference for Azure or hybrid environments
  • Experience with Octopus Deploy and RabbitMQ
  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver on complex projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for critical thinking and strategic decision-making
  • Excellent communication and adaptability, with a willingness to take on diverse roles in a start-up environment

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize software applications using a broad understanding of software development
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert, providing solutions to a wide range of software-related issues
  • Foster a culture of growth by mentoring team members and promoting continuous learning and skill development within the engineering team
  • Drive complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and high-quality outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software solutions with the company's objectives
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for software development within the team
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve software performance and team productivity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building and architecting distributed systems
  • Experience with UX/UI design
  • Familiarity with GIS products
  • Familiarity with PowerBI and Analytic solutions
