Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Have 5+ years of experience as a professional software engineer
• Have experience developing AI solutions or an eagerness to learn
• Possess a range of software development and delivery experience
• Demonstrate interest in solving complex problems that help keep people safe
• Be eager to own feature work and be involved in the details of a feature’s lifecycle
• Have experience in large code-base products or enterprise grade software

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications and APIs
• Lead technical discussions and provide insights to improve architecture, scalability, and performance
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth operation of web applications and APIs

Preferred Qualifications

Have experience with cloud platforms, with AWS experience being preferred
