Requirements
- 7+ years of professional development experience, with strong expertise in React
- 4+ years of professional React experience
- Proven track record of evangelizing, standardizing, and building frontend design patterns and addressing systemic technical impediments
- Passion for developing exceptional user experience and expertise collaborating with cross-functional partners to drive product direction
- High standards for software quality and a framework for improving quality within teams and codebases
- Experience mentoring engineers and working with business stakeholders to define technology roadmaps
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a commitment to quality documentation
- Eagerness to give and receive feedback in a collaborative learning environment
- Friendly, flexible and pragmatic approach to work
Responsibilities
- Define and evangelize architectural standards and best practices for ezCaterโs marketplace frontend experience to enable velocity, scalability, and consistency
- Work with internal stakeholders, including Principal Engineers, other Staff Engineers, Product Managers, Product Analysts and Design, to evolve ezCaterโs frontend systems to meet business needs and handle increasing scale
- Decompose complex problems, design technical solutions, and navigate critical decisions by balancing software best practices, system realities, and stakeholder concerns
- Elevate software quality, frontend architecture, and expectations of what's achievable within the engineering organization
- Provide guidance and mentorship to teammates across the organization while fostering a culture of learning and collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on digital storefronts
- Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, and Next.js
- Experience with Ruby on Rails or equivalent
- Experience with Native technologies
