Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
  • Focus on making things right and better at every opportunity
  • Solid experience with RESTful APIs written in Java/ Kotlin + Spring or Golang
  • Solid Software Architecture knowledge (Event driven architectures, serverless)
  • Solid Software quality and test automation mindset
  • Cloud computing (AWS) and Cloud Native (K8s) experience
  • Experience with SQL technology such as PostgreSQL, MySQL
  • Experience with microservices and high volume distributed systems
  • You have exceptional communication skills that enable you to work effectively with diverse teams located across different countries
  • Advanced English skills and can clearly articulate ideas when speaking to groups in English

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop APIs and workers to interface with various other services in the Wellhub ecosystem, ensuring APIs are secure, scalable, and performant
  • Consistently follow best practices and they can stand up for technical decisions in code review and design feedback
  • Helping design and implement testing standards grounded in best practices
  • Helping to configure and fine-tune infrastructure components to meet the specific needs of each application, working closely with SREs
  • Create load test plans and execute them to understand and improve services' performance, resources usage and costs according to each use case
  • Help solve incidents by joining war rooms, troubleshooting, measuring impact, implementing hotfixes, writing post-mortems, planning and helping executing actions derived from post-mortems
  • Help analyze service alerts and monitor engineering metrics on daily-basis
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers
  • Communicate technical concepts and project progress effectively to non-technical stakeholders
  • Help mentor less senior engineers and guide them when necessary
