Staff Software Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer, ideally with some time spent building internal platforms or frameworks
• Strong engineering background in Python, TypeScript, or both
• Experience designing APIs, libraries, or abstractions used by other engineers
• Fluency in modern DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD, containers, infrastructure as code, security practices)
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Strategic thinker who can operate across abstraction layers—from implementation to architecture to roadmap

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of internal SDKs and tooling that abstract away infrastructure complexity
• Architect platform patterns that encode security, observability, and scalability from day one
• Drive adoption of standardized tooling across multiple teams (including client-facing engineering, data, and infra)
• Collaborate with infrastructure, SRE, and security teams to co-own foundations like CI/CD, logging, secrets, and auth
• Contribute to our platform strategy—including documentation, onboarding models, and operational maturity frameworks
• Champion product-minded engineering: ship iteratively, measure impact, and let feedback drive roadmaps
