Remote Staff Software Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering (any), or related
• Five (5) years in any occupation in which C# software development experience is gained must include: Experience using modern web front end development such as Angular; Containerized cloud development such as Kubernetes
• Objects and static functions, instead of a single hammer
• Create and maintain sophisticated CI and CD pipelines in ADO
• Create and maintain cloud messaging implementations using Azure Service Bus or similar messaging technologies
• Create and maintain applications using microservice architecture
• Implement data storage solutions using MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases
• Create and maintain telemetry for monitoring cloud application performance using Application Insights or similar technology
• Create and maintain network messaging capabilities using MQTT or similar technologies
• Object-oriented development skills using C#
• Create and maintain multithreaded implementations using C#
• Designing and creating comprehensive and effective unit tests
• Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve challenging issues and defects

Responsibilities

• Work on our new solution within the Ivanti Neurons cloud platform, integrating with Microsoft’s Intune platform
• Contribute to product discovery and design
• Maintain and extend Ivanti’s Patch for MEM product
• Rotate responsibility with other team members to resolve bugs and other customer reported issues
• Demonstrate completed features to development team and wider engineering teams
• Track work progress using ADO or other industry tools
