Requirements
- BS in Computer Science with 8+ years of professional experience; or MS in Computer Science with 6+ years of professional experience; or PhD with 5+ years of experience; or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in at least one of the following languages: scala (Preferred), Java, python
- Proficient in Apache Spark, kafka (or relevant technologies)
- Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc
- Have experience in building streaming or batch-processing data pipelines
- Knowledge of various ETL techniques and frameworks and experience in integrating data from multiple data sources
- Solid understanding of distributed system concepts
- Have an excellent understanding of scheduling and workflow frameworks and principles
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain advanced supply-side data pipelines to ensure the efficient collection, cleansing, and integration of data
- Take ownership and work with cross-functional team to meet the dynamic needs of the business, enhancing data accuracy and reliability
- Develop, test, and refine an attribution model that accurately assesses various advertisement types and user interactions, guaranteeing reliable and consistent publisher revenue attribution
- Establish and enforce data validation and cleansing routines to ensure the accuracy and dependability of data
- Apply advanced analytical techniques, with the assistance of the Machine learning team, to uncover insights that directly impact revenue assessment and growth strategies
- Share insights, best practices, and data-driven recommendations with the broader SSP team
- Enhance and sustain reporting service for both internal stakeholders and external partners
- Actively refine and uphold the quality to meet the needs
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations by implementing data governance practices within the data platform, including user consent management and data anonymization
