Summary

Join our Engineering Team and help shape the future of healthcare technology! We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Partnerships Core engineering team. You will design and build scalable systems for our Partnerships platform, focusing on integrations with Payers, PCPs, and Health Systems. As a technical leader, you will drive architectural decisions and mentor team members. This role requires experience in building highly scalable and reliable systems, along with excellent communication skills. Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, related field, or comparable work experience
  • 7+ years of professional engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a role providing technical leadership and mentorship
  • Experience delivering highly scalable, reliable, available, and performant systems
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience of modern applications design architecture, good API design patterns, security, performance, and scaling

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable systems that provide data and services within Rula and across our partners
  • Ensure the Partnerships platform remains reliable, maintainable, and ready for future growth
  • Drive architectural decisions
  • Mentor team members
  • Play a critical role in shaping the systems that enable Rula to deliver mental health care to our partnersโ€™ members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at early or growth-stage companies
  • Demonstrable experience leveraging data to inform decisions
  • Experience with AWS or equivalent platforms
  • Experience with NodeJs, Typescript, Kafka
