Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering from a reputable university OR minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with object-oriented programming using Python, Java, Go, C++, or similar languages with experience in unit and integration testing
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and grasp complex functionalities of software products
  • Working experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Redis, Kafka for data storage and messaging
  • Prior experience in developing scalable and robust software systems
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes and Docker as deployment platforms
  • Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is required
  • Self-driven individual

Responsibilities

  • Closely collaborate with Product Managers (PMs) and engineering teams to delineate the parameters for developing Cloud Security products natively integrated with the SentinelOne platform
  • Comprehensive exploration of products from various cybersecurity vendors and widely used industry tools
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
  • Play a crucial role in providing security research context on how 3rd-party data is mapped to the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework and how it's leveraged inside our platform for triage, investigation and response

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Graph databases such (e.g. Neo4J, JanusGraph)
  • Experience with Open Policy Agent (OPA) Rego for policy enforcement
  • Experience with gRPC for high-performance RPC communication
  • Experience with Linux virtualization technologies
  • Experience with Java or Golang for backend development
