Staff Software Engineer

Summary

Join The Browser Company's diverse team of software engineers to enhance engineering productivity by improving CI/CD pipelines and build infrastructure. As a Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure, you'll scope and spearhead technical projects across multiple cloud platforms, manage and deploy new hardware and software for CI systems, and improve deployment and management of Tailscale VPN.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience leading critical projects or initiatives within large, complex infrastructure
• Proficiency in a programming language like Python, Go, C++, etc
• Experience working with GCP, AWS, or Azure, with significant expertise in at least one of these
• Experience setting up monitoring and observability for cloud infrastructure and using these tools to deliver improvements
• Mastery of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc

Responsibilities

• Scope and spearhead technical projects across our Windows, Mac, iOS, Chromium, and Swift toolchain builds related to our cloud and build infrastructure
• Manage and deploy new hardware and software for CI systems
• Build observability and monitoring into our infrastructure
• Monitor and optimize our CI/CD pipelines to ensure engineers stay productive
• Build and maintain our AWS, GCP, and Azure infrastructure using Terraform
• Improve the deployment and management of our Tailscale VPN
