Requirements

  • Several years of Fullstack Software Engineering experience
  • In-depth expertise with cloud services, such as AWS
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Agile Methodology
  • Experience delivering scalable systems that solve complex technical challenges
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience with a focus on working with the wider business and the ability to create alignment across diverse teams
  • Experience helping other engineers grow and develop their technical skills
  • A desire to contribute to the future of Trustpilot, and the ability to make crucial technical decisions, in a pragmatic way
  • A customer-centric and solution-oriented mindset with a bias to action
  • The ability to easily communicate complex problems to a diverse group of stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery of major initiatives and balance delivery with sustainable engineering practices
  • Bring together the work of many teams and individuals into a cohesive, achievable plan that aligns with the goals and deadlines of the company
  • Use your expertise to improve Trustpilot’s capabilities in your domain
  • Devise, apply, and share novel and nuanced ways to ensure the quality, production readiness, and continued health of complex systems
  • Manage and mitigate high-risk elements of initiatives, effectively communicate issues, risks, and dependencies with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the engineering leadership to engage, develop, and retain talent
  • Actively share your knowledge and seek opportunities to teach others about your domain
