Requirements

• Has served as technical lead for a team
• Track record of shipping large, complex software applications
• Fluid in languages like Ruby, Python, or Typescript
• Experience with architectural planning and design
• Ability to articulate value of technical investments
• Ability to operate with little-to-no technical guidance
• Experience mentoring engineers
• Familiarity with the front-end and working with modern a Javascript library or framework (React, Vue, Angular)
• Comfortable in a startup environment
• A fast learner

Responsibilities

• Develop the products and features that make Kin operate
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including Product and PMO
• Mentor more junior engineers
• Lead pair programming sessions and provide mentorship to team members
• Drive and foster advanced design or architectural tasks
• Develop technical roadmaps
• Participate in daily stands and weekly retros

Preferred Qualifications

Location in Central or Eastern US time zones (CDT & EDT) strongly preferred
