Summary

Join Komodo Health as a Staff Software Engineer and help drive the development of AI-driven data products. You will design and implement algorithms, build robust data and AI systems, and partner with various teams to understand complex health data use cases. Requirements

  • B.S., M.S. in Computer Science, other quantitative fields, or related work experience
  • 5+ years of Machine Learning experience
  • Minimum of 10+ years of overall experience
  • Demonstrated record of thought leadership and solution design that spans from high-level conceptual frameworks to detailed execution plans
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and openly with both technical and non-technical teams, fluency in English
  • Strong understanding of Machine Learning methodologies, AI systems, and applying algorithms concepts to launch models at scale
  • Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or Tensorflow
  • Ability to use a variety of relational, NoSQL, Postgres, and/or MPP databases
  • Ability to leverage AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) to enhance personal productivity, streamline workflows, or improve decision-making

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with Engineering team members, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and customer-facing teams to understand complex health data use cases and business logic
  • Research, design, develop, and test AI software for massive health data and prediction problems
  • Develop highly scalable systems, algorithms, and tools leveraging deep learning, data regression, and rules-based models
  • Develop solutions that leverage order-of-magnitude more data, and explore state-of-the-art AI technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare data experience is a strong plus
  • Snowflake, Snowpark, and SQL
  • Experience with building and deploying distributed applications as containers using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience interacting with, managing, or building with AI agentic workflows
