Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Masterโ€™s degree preferred
  • A strong technical background in software engineering and architecture, with experience in modern programming languages
  • Ability to work independently with very little direction, taking full ownership of projects
  • Identifying blind spots, anticipate challenges, and prioritize work effectively
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency using Python, Javascript, Typescript, Kubernetes, and AWS
  • Experience in writing and/or supporting Django, Flask, FastAPI or similar web frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions
  • Ensure timely and lossless communication across teams
  • Uphold engineering values and best practices
  • Write automated tests to ensure the quality of the software applications
  • Optimize software performance and ensure scalability and reliability
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Collaborate with international teams to ensure successful product development and delivery
  • Help mentor other engineers

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Experience with PHP and GoLang are a plus but not required
  • Experience with Distributed Task Queues such as Celery and RabbitMQ is preferred
  • Experience with RDBMS/SQL is also preferred
  • Experience with MongoDB is preferred
  • Experience with Terraform is preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred
