Staff Software Test Engineer

Summary

Join our team as a Staff Software Test Engineer and leverage your expert-level skills in test automation to drive test strategy across our organization. You will recommend improvements to testing processes, lead quality-related initiatives, and mentor team members. Responsibilities include evaluating acceptance criteria, designing test approaches, and executing both manual and automated tests. You will own the testing automation and data management strategies, maintain existing frameworks, and develop new automated tests for API and UI. Furthermore, you will define and implement best practices, manage test case selection for automation, and present results to stakeholders. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, extensive experience in QA and test automation, proficiency in C#, and experience with load and performance testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ Years of experience working in a QA and Test Automation position
• 5+ Years of experience working with C#
• At least 1 year of experience working with Load and performance testing (Jmeter, Blazemeter, etc)
• Experience working with AWS or Azure with some background in AWS
• Advanced English Level

Responsibilities

• Recommend improvements to testing processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of testing teams and reduce technical debt
• Lead out in quality-related work, training, and mentoring of team members
• Evaluate acceptance criteria, determine test approach, write & execute both manual and automated tests as necessary
• Own the testing automation strategy, test data management strategy, and test automation for assigned work
• Maintain existing test automation frameworks for all existing automated applications
• Write, debug, and execute code used in both API and UI automated testing efforts
• Define, implement, and manage processes and “best practices” regarding automated testing
• Establish processes to continually review and select manual test cases for automation test suite
• Provide metrics on business process and code coverage for automated test suites
• Present test results to stakeholders
