Store Manager in Training

Summary

Insomnia Cookies is hiring a full-time hourly Store Manager in Training at their Gardendale store. The MIT will perform manager duties during the GM's absence, supervise and train team members, conduct interviews, support the GM with ordering and scheduling, and ensure company standards are met. Desired skills include 1+ years of supervisory experience, POS systems experience, MS Office proficiency, ability to work a flexible schedule, and eligibility for employment in the US.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or retail store Prior experience conducting in-person interviews of hourly support staff Prior Point of Sale (POS) systems experience Ability to utilize MS Office, Word and our Applicant Tracking System Ability to work a 4-5 day work week and 1-2 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week Must be 18 years of age or older and have legal eligibility for employment in the United States

Responsibilities

Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when Store Ops Manager is not present Supervise, train and coach team members Lead new hourly staff onboarding and initial training Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires in the manager’s absence Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control and scheduling Hold staff accountable to Insomnia Cookies’ standards Upselling and overall customer service excellence
