This fully remote, full-time position focuses on selling to P&C insurance companies. You will own a territory of named accounts, managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals. Leverage your network and collaborate with the BDR team to generate leads and craft solutions. Successfully negotiate contracts and exceed revenue goals while representing ICEYE at industry events. This role requires a sophisticated sales professional with proven success in selling complex technology to enterprise accounts within the P&C insurance sector. Requirements
- A sophisticated sales professional with years of experience selling complex technology to enterprise accounts in the P&C insurance space, in a closing role, using a consultative approach to determine customer needs
- A proven hunter who consistently met or exceeded quota
- Strong familiarity with Insurance industry and their business processes
- Entrepreneurial spirit to own and manage an assigned territory
- Ability to work with a virtual cross-functional team to create solutions
- Strong presentation skills and proposal writing skills
- Ability to negotiate complex deals with proven influencing and closing skills
- Ability to establish and build relationships at the Director, VPs and C-suite executive levels
- Accurate forecasting ability
- Experience working in or a desire to work in an early-stage company
- Passion, with the ability to build excitement and tell a compelling story
- Ability to excel working remotely in a home office
- Positive, energetic, open and honest with a high degree of integrity and ethics
Responsibilities
- Effectively prospect, identify and drive sales opportunities through a typically complex enterprise sales cycle, from first contact to closure
- Drive business growth by cultivating a network of executive level contacts and utilizing pre-call planning, post-call analysis, and consistent follow up
- Schedule, customize, and deliver sales presentations to prospects
- Utilize sales tools and our CRM to create opportunities and manage the life cycle activity of each prospect and client
- Represent ICEYE at conferences, webinars, and other industry events
- Build a territory plan to penetrate assigned targeted accounts
- Qualify and forecast new business opportunities accurately
- Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements
- Work as part of a passionate team committed to the success of ICEYE
- Exceed assigned sales revenue goals
- Travel extensively throughout the US and sometimes globally to meet with prospects to win
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing relationships within Property Insurers
- Experience with catastrophe models or claims processes
- Fluent Spanish- could expand account assignments within the Americas
