As a Strategic Finance Senior Associate/Specialist (FP&A), you will take end-to-end ownership of financial planning processes, working closely with the CFO and senior leadership. Requirements
- At least three years of experience in FP&A, controlling, or strategic finance in a VC- or PE-backed start-up or scale-up company
- Strong financial modeling skills and excellent command of Excel/Powerpoint
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and presenting to leadership
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a structured approach to problem-solving
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
- Proactive, hands-on, and ownership-driven mindset
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Act as a sparring partner to the CFO, delivering financial insights that drive strategic decisions
- Develop and present financial reports and analyses for Managing Directors and other senior leaders
- Lead the preparation and coordination of investor/board reporting, ensuring clarity, consistency, and precision
- Consolidate and manage actuals, budget, and forecast data into a cohesive and actionable financial view
- Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to the company’s strategic planning process
Preferred Qualifications
Experience at a VC or PE fund (e.g., internship during studies) is a plus
