Join Granicus' Swagit Productions team as a remote Streaming Video Technical Director in Costa Rica! This entry-level role allows you to leverage your passion for live streaming into a full-fledged career. You will be responsible for dynamically switching cameras and broadcasting live government meeting productions using Swagit's proprietary systems. The position requires bilingualism (English and Spanish), availability for specific shifts (11 am-10 pm, Monday-Thursday, Central Time), and a reliable high-speed internet connection. While prior experience with live streaming and video production is preferred, Granicus provides in-house training. This is a remote-first company with a global workforce and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Requirements

• Be fully bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Reside in Costa Rica
• Work in shifts between 11 am-10 pm (M-TH) Central time
• Availability to work from Noon to midnight (and occasionally later) CST, Monday thru Thursday, with some Fridays
• Willingness to work holidays if needed
• Have a reliable, secure high-speed internet connection at home
• Submit a current resume
• Include 3 or more references, including title and contact information, one of which must include your immediate past supervisor
• Provide director reels or links to past streams (that contain the actions of switching between multiple inputs or feeds)
• Arrive on-time to work and be engaged with respective job duties

Responsibilities

• Dynamically switch cameras and broadcast live government meeting productions using Swagit's proprietary broadcast systems
• Maintain a reliable and high-speed network connection while conducting work
• Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
• Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a basic understanding of video production and live streaming technologies
• Have knowledge and experience with TriCaster, Broadcast Pix or vMix
• Have experience with switching cameras or inputs through consumer streaming software like Streamlabs OBS, Open Broadcast Software (OBS) or XSplit
• Have knowledge of live television technical directing
