Summary

Join Western Digital as an intern in Corporate Strategy to drive strategic direction and operational execution for the company. Interns will take on challenging projects, solve complex problems, gather and analyze data, formulate hypotheses, and present recommendations to senior leaders.

Requirements

• Strong strategic and conceptual thinking
• Ability to break down and solve problems with analysis and data
• Structured, hypothesis-driven problem solving and comfort with ambiguity
• Data-driven analytics to draw insights by understanding key drivers and what matters most
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team to arrive at the best answer and develop working relationships with people at all levels, who may have competing priorities and viewpoints
• Self-awareness and adaptability in a dynamic environment
• Advanced graduate degree in progress (MBA, PhD)

Responsibilities

• Take on challenging projects
• Solve complex problems that impact the company’s future direction
• Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data, formulate and test hypotheses, and then synthesize and present recommendations to senior leaders
• Get involved with implementation of your recommendations
