Requirements

  • Extensive pedagogical experience and credibility in a given discipline
  • Significant experience working with educational stakeholders at all levels, and particularly with senior leaders of large, urban school districts
  • Strong knowledge of relevant state and federal legislation for the assigned territory
  • Ability to manage full-cycle opportunities using a CRM system and other sales technology
  • Impeccable communication skills, written and verbal; with demonstrated executive presence
  • CA superintendent experience

Responsibilities

  • Achieve CA new business and Renewal targets
  • Partner with sales teams to create new district opportunities
  • Conduct client discovery calls with sales representatives
  • Meet with clients to discuss their educational and pedagogical needs
  • Strategize with the sales team to create customized solutions
  • Draft and deliver presentations on targeted products
  • Provide post-implementation follow-ups in concert with Renaissance Customer Success
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Monitor and anticipate market activity to support the positioning of Renaissance products with key customers
  • Monitor competitor activity to facilitate customer retention and acquisition
  • Partner with Marketing and Government Affairs colleagues to identify and prioritize funding sources and customer initiatives to inform Renaissance’s Strategic Accounts go to market strategy
