Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Information Systems or a healthcare-related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Quality Assurance, Data Management, Healthcare purchasing, clinical role, or other medical background
- High degree of proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong customer service and communication skills that apply to both internal and external customers
- Medical product knowledge
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced cross-functional environment
- Ability to effectively and proactively problem-solve
Responsibilities
- Perform validation and maintenance of transactional data elements
- Acquire, maintain, and load supplier catalogs into the Content Operations database
- Contribute to organization curation and maintenance in GHX master data
- Identify, apply and maintain standardized part number formats for vendors ensuring EDI compliance through research and communication with vendors
- Perform ad hoc queries on multiple large data sets to identify data issues and initiate corrective action
- Contribute to validation and reporting of product records listed as “DNF” (Did Not Find) through research and communication with vendors
- Coordinate and facilitate professional relationships with internal and external subject matter experts to serve as supplier advocate for Content Operations
- Work in conjunction with peers and cross-functional team members to ensure timely delivery of accurate data and solve problems
- Continually evaluate processes and procedures that support Content Operations goals and objectives to create new efficiencies and improve operations
- Contribute different thoughts, ideas and viewpoints that lead to greater innovation on projects and cross-functional collaborative efforts
