Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a similar role (preferably in a supply chain or logistics setting)
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and predictive modeling
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets related to supply chain operations (e.g., inventory, supplier data, lead times, and logistics performance)
  • Develop predictive models to forecast demand, inventory levels, and procurement needs
  • Use statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and simulation techniques to optimize supply chain performance
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply chain and recommend data-driven solutions
  • Analyze supply chain workflows to improve processes and reduce operational costs
  • Develop and implement dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and supply chain metrics in real-time
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (procurement, logistics, manufacturing) to identify data needs and collaborate on problem-solving initiatives
  • Present findings and actionable insights to stakeholders through reports and data visualizations
  • Work with IT and data teams to ensure data integrity, streamline data pipelines, and enhance data storage solutions
  • Design and maintain supply chain databases and data repositories to ensure continuous monitoring of performance metrics
  • Use data to assess and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, supplier performance, and market changes
  • Create simulation models to anticipate and prepare for potential supply chain challenges

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain management software
  • Advanced knowledge of inventory management, procurement, and logistics
  • Experience with big data tools and technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
  • Understanding of AI and its potential applications in solving business problems
  • Knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry standards
