Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in AC switchyard technology for HVDC or high-voltage switchgear systems (AIS/GIS)
- Strong understanding of field control devices and configuration, with expertise in the SIPROTEC 5 series
- Proficiency in DIGSI 5, CFC, and other relevant tools
- Knowledge of high-voltage protection and control systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision
Responsibilities
- Drive design-related topics from the early stages of hardware concept development to manufacturing, parametrization and testing of BCU-based switchgear
- Develop and verify control systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality in high-voltage switchyard environments
- Configure field control devices, including the SIPROTEC 5 series, using tools such as DIGSI 5 and CFC (Continuous Flow Chart)
- Perform parametrization and testing to validate system integrity and performance
- Apply extensive knowledge of HVDC technology and AC switchyard systems for high-voltage applications
- Ensure compliance with technical standards and best practices in both AIS and GIS switchgear systems
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware design, manufacturing, and field engineers, to ensure project alignment and delivery
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with HVDC technology and advanced high-voltage switchgear systems
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for high-voltage systems
- Experience with testing, commissioning, or manufacturing of high-voltage switchgear
