Requirements
- Hold a BS in Electrical or Computer engineering (Masters/PhDs preferred)
- Possess 8+ years of related experience in one or more of the following areas: 3D NAND device/design, SSD testing, NAND/SSD Failure Analysis, information theory and ECC development
- Demonstrate experience coding in one or more of the following languages: Python or C++. Bash scripting as well
- Exhibit passion for problem solving
- Possess exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrate ability to work both with a global team and individually
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Develop system design and firmware features for enterprise SSD products with knowledge of NAND operation/test modes to boost performance, endurance, reliability, and power
- Conduct system/component level testing & validation on test platforms including drive-level testing & contribute to integration efforts with cross-functional (PETE, device, design) teams
- Support component and drive-level FA effort
- Review product specifications, provide cost/performance competitive NAND memory solution, and generate comprehensive report with bold and justified conclusion
