Requirements

  • Hold a BS in Electrical or Computer engineering (Masters/PhDs preferred)
  • Possess 8+ years of related experience in one or more of the following areas: 3D NAND device/design, SSD testing, NAND/SSD Failure Analysis, information theory and ECC development
  • Demonstrate experience coding in one or more of the following languages: Python or C++. Bash scripting as well
  • Exhibit passion for problem solving
  • Possess exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate ability to work both with a global team and individually
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Develop system design and firmware features for enterprise SSD products with knowledge of NAND operation/test modes to boost performance, endurance, reliability, and power
  • Conduct system/component level testing & validation on test platforms including drive-level testing & contribute to integration efforts with cross-functional (PETE, device, design) teams
  • Support component and drive-level FA effort
  • Review product specifications, provide cost/performance competitive NAND memory solution, and generate comprehensive report with bold and justified conclusion
