Tagalog-English Interpreter

Summary

Join Language Line Solutions (KellyOCG) as a Language Interpreter (English and Tagalog) for the full night shift (MYT), serving clients in Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand. Your primary role is to accurately interpret conversations between parties speaking different languages, ensuring clear communication. You will work from home, requiring a quiet and secure environment. This position involves interpreting calls on various subjects across different sectors, including healthcare, government, and emergency services. The schedule includes rotating shifts, two rotating days off per week, and work on public holidays. You must be fluent in English and Vietnamese (reading, writing, and speaking).

Requirements

• Be fluent in English (Read & Speak & Write)
• Be fluent in Vietnamese (Read & Write & Speak)
• Work from home
• Own a mobile phone with Android 12 and above or IOS 15 and above
• Own a laptop with an updated version
• Be willing to work rotating shifts for 9 hours anytime following the required schedule by the client within 24 hours (Night Shift)
• Be entitled to 2 days off in a week which will be rotating any day
• Be willing to work on public holidays as the operation is 24/7

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between parties who speak different languages
• Accurately interpret conversations between the caller (native language) and the emergency operator (English)
• Convey the message in the preferred language of the caller and ensure that both parties understand each other
• Work from home in a quiet and secure environment
