Wheeler Accountants LLP is seeking a Tax Manager for their growing team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for public accounting, focus on career growth, possess technical competence, and have 5-10+ years of individual and business tax experience. Requirements

• A passion for public accounting
• Focus on career growth and a firm to grow with
• High degree of technical competence and strong sense of confidence in one’s own abilities
• 5-10+ years Individual and Business tax experience required. Estate & Trust experience is a plus
• CPA or EA License
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting preferred. Masters degree in Taxation is a plus
• Minimum 5-10+ years’ experience working for a public accounting firm

Responsibilities

• Provide tax, attestation, consulting, and client accounting services
• Direct client contact with a mind on keeping clients satisfied throughout the engagement
• Managing projects and deadlines with open communication with members of the assigned team
• Mentoring & and training our senior and staff accountants in their roles

Benefits

• Competitive Bay Area salary, Salary range: $140,000 to $180,000. Compensation will be adjusted for each candidate based on their geographic location
