Tax Software Trainer

Join our team as a Contract Tax Software Trainer! We are seeking a remote, US-based expert in CCH Axcess Tax or similar cloud-based tax software to deliver engaging virtual training to clients. This ad hoc contract position offers flexible, part-time hours, ideal for freelancers. You will deliver web-based training sessions, create content, and provide consulting services. The ideal candidate possesses extensive tax software expertise, a passion for teaching, and proven training experience. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an Accounting degree and CPA preferred.

Requirements

• Expert in Tax Software: In-depth, hands-on experience with CCH Axcess Tax or similar leading tax software solutions, including preparation, review, and tax law
• Passion for Teaching: A genuine interest in learning and teaching, with the ability to deliver training sessions without extensive onboarding or training
• Proven Training Experience: Previous experience teaching or coaching professionals, preferably in a virtual setting, with an ability to explain complex software in a simple and relatable way
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting degree preferred); CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
• Self-Starter & Goal-Oriented: Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a freelance environment
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with an enthusiastic and engaging approach to teaching

Responsibilities

• Deliver web-based training sessions focused on CCH Axcess Tax or comparable cloud-based tax software to clients, including accounting firms, tax departments, and government agencies
• Provide clear, concise, and engaging training with minimal preparation, leveraging your existing expertise in tax software solutions
• Assist with software demonstrations, content creation, and consulting services as needed
• Manage your own schedule by selecting available training slots, depending on seasonal demand
