Team Lead Software Engineer

Requirements

• Have the ability and motivation to be a hands-on servant leader for a cross-functional development team
• Have profound experience in software development, and thrive on concepts like SOLID, TDD and DDD
• Have significant experience with PHP
• Have at least some experience development web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Angular
• Speak and understand English very well

Responsibilities

• Be the technical and disciplinary leader of a new cross-functional software development team, working on our Wave platform
• Take active part as a developer in the team’s work
• Coach and mentor individual team members to help them grow personally and professionally
• Evangelize best of class development practices in your team
• Work closely with your Product Owner and Scrum Master to help the team reach its goals
• Work closely with other team leads and engineers in the roadsurfer engineering organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with the Symfony framework
• Have experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Have knowledge of CI/CD and monitoring and logging tools like Kibana or Grafana
